Brooks Lee has been ranked sixth overall among shortstops in MLB Pipeline's 2024 prospect rankings.

The service's full top-100 rankings are set to be revealed later this week, but in a shortstop-specific top 10 Lee checks in at No. 6.

  1. Jackson Holliday, Orioles (2024)
  2. Colson Montgomery, White Sox (2024)
  3. Jordan Lawlar, D-backs (2024)
  4. Jackson Merrill, Padres (2024)
  5. Marcelo Mayer, Red Sox (2024)
  6. Brooks Lee, Twins (2024)
  7. Carson Williams, Rays (2025)
  8. Adael Amador, Rockies (2025)
  9. Cole Young, Mariners (2025)
  10. Marco Luciano, Giants (2024)

In last year's Pipeline top-100 rankings, Lee checked in at No. 18 overall and was the seventh-ranked shortstop behind Holliday, Junior Caminero (now in the bigs with the Rays), Merrill, Lawlar, Mayer and Montgomery. So all in all, Lee maintained his placement among shortstop recruits.

Lee was selected with the eighth overall pick in the 2022 MLB Draft and drew a glowing review from Carlos Correa in spring training before hitting .292/.365/.476 with 11 home runs and 61 RBI in 87 games at Double-A Wichita.

Lee's numbers dropped to .237/.304/.428 with five homers and 23 RBI in 38 games at Triple-A St. Paul last summer, but he had his moments including a 4-for-5 game with a triple and a home run against Columbus on Sept. 3 and a home run in the following game against Louisville on Sept. 5.
