DR Congo knocked Egypt out of the Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday after prevailing 8-7 in a penalty shootout.
Goalkeeper Lionel Mpasi scored the winning spot-kick after the game had ended in a 1-1 draw following 120 minutes of play.
Both teams had drawn all three of their group games at AFCON 2023.
DR Congo have therefore now reached the quarter-finals without winning a single game during the tournament.

Meschack Elia headed DR Congo in front in the 37th minute before Mostafa Mohamed equalized for Egypt from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
Egypt had to play the majority of extra time with just 10 men after Mohamed Hamdy was sent off midway through the first period.
After scoring a penalty in normal time, Mohamed missed the target in the shootout. DR Congo defender Arthur Masuaku also missed moments later.
The score was tied at 7-7 after eight penalties each before Egypt goalkeeper Mohamed Abou Gabal, aka Gabaski, stepped up.
Gabaski hit the crossbar before DR Congo no.1 Mpasi successfully converted the very next spot-kick to send his side through to the last eight where they will face Guinea on Friday.
